Tools review ** UPDATE**

You may notice that some of our tools are temporarily disappearing from the website.

Don’t panic. We haven’t broken everything. Probably.

Recently, with the help of the wonderful Micah & Sophie from our Discord community, we received access to OpenAI Daybreak Blue - an approved cybersecurity access tier that uses frontier models such as GPT-5.6 Sol with safeguards specifically designed for legitimate defensive security work. It can be used for things like secure code review, vulnerability analysis, incident response and identifying potential security issues.

Naturally, we immediately decided to point it at the things we've built.

Right now, we're working through our tools one by one, reviewing how they handle information, looking for potential weaknesses, checking what data actually needs to be shared with external services, and making improvements wherever we can.

We've already completed reviews on several tools, but there are still a few left to go. And yes — we even upgraded our subscription because apparently repeatedly throwing your own projects at cybersecurity analysis consumes quite a bit of allowance. Who knew? 😅

Why are we doing this?

Because these tools were built to help people, and if we're asking you to trust something we've created, we want to do the work required to earn that trust.

That means not simply asking:

“Does it work?”

…but also:

“What information does it use?”

“What leaves your device?”

“Does all of that information actually need to be shared?”

“Can we make this more private?”

“Can we make this more secure?”

And we're already seeing real improvements.

For example, our Claude → Discord MCP connector has now been changed so that it redacts and reduces the amount of data being sent to Anthropic, minimising unnecessary information sharing and making the connector more privacy-conscious.

That's exactly the kind of improvement we're looking for throughout the rest of the project.

So, while we're working through the remaining reviews, some tools will be temporarily hidden from the website. They'll return as we finish reviewing and updating them.

We'd rather temporarily remove something while we properly examine it than leave it available simply because “well, it seems fine.”

We're building this project for the community, and that means treating your trust, privacy and security as part of the product — not an afterthought.

We're working through the remaining tools now.

And we're also working on a few entirely new things coming soon. 👀
